tar, chancel, and for various stands, pew ends, and sometimes in the windows too. Most weeks the arrangement is in memory of a deceased relative of a Church member.
On special occasions like Easter and Christmas, we really go to town! We adorn the church building from top to bottom with lovingly arranged flowers, bringing the building alive with colour and fragrance.
During the warmer months, we are often asked to make flower arrangements for weddings. This gives us great pleasure, as we feel that we are contributing to the couple's happy day. Our time is given freely, so the only cost to the couple is the cost of the flowers.
Because we are a small group we are always looking for more helpers, so if any lady would like to join us, you'll be very welcome - Please see Dot Gilbert or me!
